ABOUT SANGLA VALLEY
If a landscape had the powers of casting spells, then the Sangla valley would be a magician extraordinary. Once seen, it is a place that can never be forgotten. So aptly portrayed in the song "Nothing But" by John Kay. The gorgeous green valley of Sangla is where the tired mind and body gets relaxed and rejuvenated.
Sangla Valley, also known as the Baspa Valley, is located in the greater Himalayan Range of Himachal Pradesh. The valley extends from Karchum to Chitkul, the last village at the Indo-Tibetan border. The word ‘Sangla’ in Tibetan language denotes ‘Pass of Light’. Sangla travel guide is full of references to the mesmerizing sceneries and picturesque spots. The region and its vicinity are famous for its cherry and apple trees and pine nut orchards. Apart from the amazing natural vegetation, some of the interesting sightseeing places that attract tourists are Kamru Fort, Buddhist Monastery, Sangla Meadow and Tibetan Wood Carving Centre etc. The place is famous worldwide for Kinnauri caps and handmade shawls

Arrive at Chandigarh. Pick-up and transfer to Narkhanda. Check in at your hotel.

After breakfast, drive to Sangla. Enjoy the scenic beauty of Sangla valley. Have lunch on your way to Sangla. Check into the camps in Sangla and evening spent in leisure.

After breakfast, head out for local sightseeing in Sangla. Drive to Chitkul (23km), the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibet border. Drive down to Rakchham, a quaint nomadic village, where you can experience the ‘pahari’ lifestyle of the people. Carry packed lunch and have it on the banks of the Baspa river, which is a 5 min walk from the camp. Come back to camp for tea. Rest of the evening is free for leisure.

After breakfast, head out for local sightseeing in Sangla. Visit to Kamroo village, visit the fort, and Kamakhya devi temple, the deity of which was originally brought from Assam. On the way visit Batseri village & Lord Badrinarayan temple, then experience the walk on the glacier.Alternately, you can indulge in activities like rock climbing, rappelling and river crossing in and around the camp. Come back to camp for tea. Rest of the evening is free for leisure.

After breakfast, check out from the campsite and drive to Nako. On the way, visit Recong Peo, where you can view the stunning other face of Kinner Kailash. Explore Nako with its thousand year old monastery and footprints of Lord Padmasambhava.

After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Kalpa. En-route, take a short halt at Khab, where you can see the confluence of the Sutlej and Spiti rivers.
Besides the amazing close-up view of the Kinner Kailash range, Kalpa also offers a wonderful market walk. Rest of the day is free for local sightseeing.

After breakfast, head out for local sightseeing in Kalpa. Visit the Kamru Fort, Roghi Village, Suicide point, etc in Kalpa. Rest of the day is free for shopping.

After breakfast, drive to Shimla. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the valleys. Lunch will be served on the way. Check into the hotel in Shimla. Visit the local market for shopping.
Overnight in Shimla.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to chandigarh to carry on with your further travel by flight or train.

The tour booking will be confirmed only upon receipt of a non-refundable amount of 20% of the tour cost, in addition to the charges such as air fares, rail fares, etc. along with completed personal information form or an email confirming your intent to travel.
In the event of any cancellation by you, the initial deposit amount paid, shall stand forfeited and further cancellation shall be levied as per the following terms:
All dispute arising under or in connection with it, shall be governed by the laws then prevailing in India, and shall be under the jurisdiction of the courts in Sangli.
*During peak season some hotel bookings are non-refundable. Hence, in such a case the amount paid will not be refunded.
Payments will be refunded within 10 to 15 working days after cancellation through a bank transfer.
Liability:
1. Certain trips organised by Jungle Lore may require various levels of physical fitness and travellers must ensure that they understand the level and nature of physical activity, fitness and endurance required for a chosen tour prior to the commencement of the same.
2. Travellers should keep in mind that certain tours are organised in places where medical assistance may not be easily available, so those dependant on medicines should stock up.
3. Travellers should ensure that prior joining a chosen trip, to the best of their knowledge they are not suffering from any medical or physical ailment or condition that compromises their ability to undertake and complete the same.
4. Jungle Lore, its owners and employees would not be responsible for any loss, liability, damage, expenses, injury, sickness or death occasioned to a fellow travellers except for lack of provision of amenities, services and infrastructure which are to be provided by the organisers themselves as described on www.junglelore.net. The organisers would not be responsible for such liabilities arising out of acts of god, earthquake, flood, storm, fire, rain, landslide, government restrictions, strikes or bandhs, defect of motor vehicles, acts of third party, external aggression, law and order disturbances, negligence of any travellers or travellers failing to heed the instructions of the organisers / activity guides, any risks that are normally attendant on a particular activity and any matters that are outside the control of the organisers.
5. Tours are subject to weather and natural conditions which are beyond the control of the organisers. To ensure the safety of the travellers it may be necessary to cancel or postpone a tour (or any part thereof) after the tour has been paid for by the travellers. Reimbursements of payments in such cases will be subject to the fixed costs of the tour barring which all other amounts will be reimbursed.
