Bhutan being an isolated country can be easily travelled from parts of India. The landlocked country is well connected with airways and roadways. Paro International Airport is the major airport of the country and you can travel in this country with National Highway 317A. However, there are no rail routes within the country, the nearest railway station is Hasimara located in the Indian Territory at a distance of 18km from the city of Phuentsholing.
