Gir and Dwarka

ITINERARY

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Rajkot. Transfer to Gir (160 kms/ 3 hours)

Take the early morning flight from Mumbai to Rajkot and upon arrival head for breakfast. Later transfer to Sasan Gir by car – (160 km. approx) 3hrs. Lunch will be served at resort, and followed by some rest after which we head for our first Jungle Safari. We return to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Jungle Safari

The morning starts early as we pay our visits to the Gir forest for an early morning jungle safari. Breakfast will be served upon return from the safari. Post some leisure time we have lunch. Post lunch, we head for the third Jungle Safari.

Day 3: Jungle Safari

Repeat the early morning safari. Post breakfast , we head for Somnath temple . Visit Somnath Temple, a renowned Shiva Temple and considered one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples and one of the most visited Shiva Temples in India. Post that we drive to Dwaraka.

Day 4: Temple visits in and around Dwarka

Early morning visit Okha for the Beyt Dwarka. Beyt Dwarka is an island accessible over a short boat ride where a prominent Lord Krishna Temple is located. Upon return visit Nageshwar Mahadev Temple enroute. Nageshwar temple is believed to be one of the 12 Jyotirlinga Temples. Visit Rukmini Devi Temple, Gomati Ghat Temples after returning to Dwarka.

Day 5 - Departure to Rajkot & take flight back to Mumbai

Post breakfast, Check out from the hotel and transfer to Airport or Railway Station.
