The itinerary is designed specifically focussed on the Khasi Hills region which has some amazing natural wonders like the root bridges, limestone caves, numerous falls, canyoning routes, rich forests and much more.
DAY 1 - 23rd Jan 2018 - Fly to Guwahati and transfer to Cherapunjee
Take an early morning flight to Guwahati. Upon arrival in Guwahati, transfer to Cherapunjee (4 hrs drive) Enroute Cherapunjee visit Nohkalikai Falls, Wah Kaba Falls viewpoint. Check in the resort. Over night stay at the resort.
DAY 2 - 24th Jan 2018 - Visit the legendary Living Root Bridge in the village of Nongriat
Today we will hike to the nearby village which has the legendary root bridge. Overnight stay at the Home stay in Nogriat.

A species of Indian Rubber Tree - Ficus Elastica thrives along the streams and rivers in the lower reaches of Khasi hills. Since the rivers come down 3000 ft along the precipitous slopes, these trees have adapted themselves to the heavy soil erosion and perch themselves on high boulders comfortably sending their roots down to the river.
Some of them are as old as 500 yrs and can hold more than 50 people at once.
DAY 3 - 25th Jan 2018 - Explore the village and trek back to our resort in Cherapunjee
DAY 4 - 26th Jan 2018 - Visit Mawlynnong Village and Mawsmai Cave/ Cave Exploration at Mawluh cave
DAY 5 - 27th Jan 2018 - Cherapunjee to Shillong via Dawki
Post breakfast check out of the hotel and we visit Dawki for boating to see the crystal clear water of Umngot river. We head to Shillong for some sightseeing. Overnight stay at the resort in Shillong.
Day 6 - 28th Jan 2018 - Visit Don Bosco transfer to Guwahati for a flight back home
We check out post breakfast and we do Shillong local sightseeing on the way to Guwahati Airport
